Still fighting the Obama machine on health care

Here's a letter I just sent to multiple newspapers by employing Pres'ent Obama's technology machine AGAINST his agenda.

You can do the same by CLICKING HERE.

To: Minneapolis Star Tribune, St. Paul Pioneer Press, Rochester (MN) Post-Bulletin, Finance and Commerce, Minnesota Daily, and the Wall Street Journal

Subject: Americans are waking up
Americans are waking up to the fact that the so-called health care "reforms" current before Congress are not reforms at all. The legislation is nothing more than a federal takeover of a huge economic sector and another step toward socialism.

Socialist/collectivist action has never built a great nation. The only evidence of history is that such action is only capable of consuming the wealth of nations -- national wealth and welfare that has been built through individual effort and initiative in the context of personal liberty and economic freedom.

Take another look at the fraud and waste in the current Medicare program and ask if we really want to enlarge that kind of "government efficiency" (falsely so-called) for more Americans.

Stop and think! We need to stop this hugely expensive boondoggle that will do nothing but aid in the destruction of the U.S. economy as we have known it.

Ludwig von Mises and Social Security

Mises’ 1949 comments on Social Security and government debt read as
if they had been written yesterday: “Paul in the year 1940 saves by paying
one hundred dollars to the national social security institution. He receives
in exchange a claim which is virtually an unconditional government IOU.
If the government spends the hundred dollars for current expenditures, no
additional capital comes into existence, and no increase in the productivity
of labor results. The government’s IOU is a check drawn upon the future
taxpayer. In 1970 a certain Peter may have to fulfill the government’s
promise although he himself does not derive any benefit from the fact that.
Paul in 1940 saved one hundred dollars.... The trumpery argument that the
public debt is no burden because ’we owe it to ourselves’ is delusive. The
Pauls of 1940 do not owe it to themselves. It is the Peters of 1970 who owe
it to the Pauls of 1940.... The statesmen of 1940 solve their problems by
shifting them to the statesmen of 1970. On that date the statesmen of 1940
will be either dead or elder statesmen glorying in their wonderful achievement,
social security.” -- from Bettina Bien Greaves' "Forward" to Ludwig von Mises'
Human Action (Fourth Edition)

State of the Union: Obama v. Constitution - Alexander's Essays - PatriotPost.US

State of the Union: Obama v. Constitution - Alexander's Essays - PatriotPost.US

In the wake of Barack Hussein Obama's first State of the Union address, much of the critical analysis from Republicans posited that he should do "this" instead of "that."

Unfortunately, when there is no more constitutional authority for a president to do this rather than that, Republicans fail to distinguish themselves from Democrats since both parties are then advocating unlawful extra-constitutional policies.

So, how can the Republicans really distinguish themselves from the Democrats? By standing for LIMITED CONSTITUTIONAL GOVERNMENT, SOUND MONETARY POLICY, and FREE MARKETS (instead of corporate cronyism).

Make them stick to it or vote them out!

U.S. Loan Effort Is Seen as Adding to Housing Woes | theledger.com | The Ledger | Lakeland, FL

U.S. Loan Effort Is Seen as Adding to Housing Woes | theledger.com | The Ledger | Lakeland, FL: "The Obama administration’s $75 billion program to protect homeowners from foreclosure has been widely pronounced a disappointment, and some economists and real estate experts now contend it has done more harm than good."

Sound economic thinking would have told them this but, of course, they would not have listened anyway.

Hello! Republican candidates and officeholders? Are you listening?
